Plot Summary

Randy Quaid is dead–on perfect as Kenny Lee in Dead Solid Perfect, an entertaining comedy/drama based on Dan Jenkins' novel. Quaid engagingly tees up and knocks home this story of a touring pro ready for stardom – if he can avoid the tour's traps. Traps of sand are the easiest to master. But the on–the–road after–hours of hotels, bars, and groupies are hazards not so readily overcome. They're marriage wreckers that put Kenny and wife Beverly (Kathryn Harrold) in the rough. In time, Kenny discovers his personal life should get the same care he takes when approaching a shot on a dog–legged fairway. When he gets it right, he'll know it. Everything will be Dead Solid Perfect.
